Accounts

We verify certain profiles to help you be sure that they are who they claim to be. Keep in mind most of the users are not verified. You can report suspicious accounts that are impersonating you, your business or your artist.

If you would like to get a verified account please do one of the following before requesting account verification.

After you’ve done this, you can apply for a verified account by emailing your username and the link(s) to your facebook/twitter accounts to support@demodrop.com

Note that only accounts with a certain amount of facebook likes / twitter followers (>5000) are eligible for a verified DemoDrop account. 


To change your username go to http://demodrop.com/profile/account

This will also effect your DemoDrop url, e.g:
http://YOURUSERNAME.demodrop.com


If you want to delete your account, you can do so by going to : http://demodrop.com/account/delete
Warning this permanently deletes your account with all your tracks and supports, after that there’s no way back

Alternatively, If you don’t want your profile to be visible to others, go to http://demodrop.com/my/account and set your account type to “Hide your profile”


Some popular usernames are unavailable due to a previous fake account or just blocked by us to prevent people from creating a fake profile with a username of popular djs/artists.

If your username is unavailable please make sure you didn’t create the account yourself by requesting a new password for that username.

If you feel your username is in use by someone else please contact
support@demodrop.com to claim it.

Note that when a account is deleted that username will NOT become available again. 

 


If you’ve forgot your username or password, or your login with soundcloud, twitter or facebook doesn’t work anymore, try the following:

nd fill in either your username or your email address.

You will then receive a email with a link to access your account where you can set your password.


You can upgrade your account to unlock more features.
